I have a passion for higher education and finding a way to bring the college experience to all who wish and deserve to pursue a college degree. I created this blog to be a space to spread the word about scholarships, provide motivational tips, and answer reader questions.
In August of 2007, I became the first person in my family to obtain a college degree. The journey to obtaining my degree in Communications was one filled questions. I wondered what to do about financial aid? If there were any scholorships out there for people like me? And I needed guidance as to how to make my journey to college graduate a successful one. I made it out, and I want to help other people like me figure it out, and plan it out.
I am not an expert, not yet, anyway. But, I am a real twentysomething who navigated the mysterious world of higher education and lived to tell the tale, and pass along some tips.
